Fw: Papercut & Watercolor Holiday Card Demo
Topic: Art
papercut and watercolor holiday card

One of the cards i made at today's demo. Make up some sheets of card stock by painting random watercolor washes. Let dry while you make the papercuts. They can be as simple as a triangle tree connected to a frame. This one is a creature a bit like a deer, and is actually the cut away part of the papercut!

sweet potatoes and green beans dish photo

Just saute in a bit of olive oil, potatoes first. Set them aside when done. Then do the beans. (Potatoes get covered while cooking but not the beans.) Mix together with a touch of vinegar, sprinkled and tossed.

Press Release

Christmas Tree Sales to Benefit the Thomaston 4th of July Celebration

Thomaston, Maine - The Thomaston 4th of July Committee will be holding the traditional weekend Christmas Tree Sale formerly held by the fire department. The sale's new location is the Thomaston Public Library parking lot. Hours are Saturdays 9-3 p.m. and Sundays 11-3 p.m., until December 19th or sold out. Robbins Lumber in Searsmont supplied the 6-8 foot Maine grown trees. The committee reminds holiday decorators that buying a $25 home-grown tree will support Thomaston's 4th of July Celebration. If unable to make the sale dates, one may call Sally Foley at 354-6417 or Julie Russo at 691-2971 for special arrangements.
